Experience was very positive.

The breakfast was great and there was a wide range of reasonably priced food. The view of countryside was exceptionally good, as well as central location really close to a magical church, near the village pond with ducks...

Hotel's location was good, in an old English pub with modern facilities. The breakfast was fresh and great, had plenty of options.

What a charming escape! The four-poster bed was an enchanting touch, immersing us in history. The power shower was invigorating, and the lamb dish was melt-in-your-mouth divine. I'll definitely return!

The room had a charming vibe, with its low beams and creaky floors really giving off that historic feel. But wow, it was cramped! I was like I had to duck most of the time because the ceiling was super low. Plus, I couldn't get much ventilation with the windows painted shut, a bit of a downer. The sound from the road was annoying too, especially when I was hoping for some peace and quiet.

Improve the awkward room layouts!!! Fix the unreliable hot water supply!!! More effort on cleanliness in certain areas would go a long way!!! Consider alternative access routes to rooms for better navigation!!!

We had a lovely stay, enjoying the cozy bar and the delicious pub fish and chips that were totally worth the price! The sun terrace was perfect for unwinding with a drink and the charming garden area was an added treat. The only hiccup was finding parking, but it's really a minor thing – just take your time and you'll be fine! 😊

I adored the charming wooden beams and exposed brickwork throughout the hotel. It gives a cozy, historic feel while still being well maintained. The views over the Weald countryside were amazing.

Need more accessible seating areas for seniors.

The quirky ambiance was good, especially with the lovely four-poster bed and powerful shower that gave a unique touch to our stay. The garden area and sun terrace offered perfect spots for relaxation. Just a heads-up, the traffic noise picked up a bit in the mornings but didn't take away from the charm at all. 😊

We enjoyed a lovely dinner, celebrating a special occasion with delicious food and attentive service. The cozy atmosphere enhanced the experience. For a unique touch, I recommend taking photos instead of trying to read the menu off the board in the bar during busy hours.

Enjoyed the quaint atmosphere in a charming village. The staff were friendly, and the pub offered great food. A personal highlight was the cozy ambiance-perfect for a romantic evening after a day of exploring Kent. Just be prepared for somewhat limited room amenities.

Spent a night here and really enjoyed it! The location is beautiful, with fine views over the countryside. Staff were super friendly. The evening meal was tasty, though the bar prices could be better. Room was nice, but a bit cramped near the stairs. Overall a lovely break!

What a charming place! I fell in love with the authentic 4-poster room 😍, even if I had to duck a bit under the beams. Just wish there was a lift for easier access.
